If I didn’t liked Flower of Evil, is there a chance I will enjoy Undercover? (synopsis seems pretty similar, husband hiding his identity from his wife)

    I think there are very few people who watched Undercover here but I’ve only heard praises for that show. Plus it has KHJ who usually picks good shows.

    I like it but I am KHJ-JJH biased (as I survived and rewatched their super makjaing I Have a Lover). It is a warm and engaging watch. The husband didn’t hide his identity on purpose but rather give up his identity for the love of her. They have two teenage kids with one having Asperger. It is quite a family-oriented story and tightly paced thriller at the same time. Why don’t you try two episodes?

    But if you are a JJH fan, then Designated Surviver is a must watch.

      Why does the kiddo thing reminds me of move to heaven?! I haven’t seen much of jjh to become his fan, honestly!
      Designated survivor is in my watch list for Lee Jun hyuk!
      Now tell me which one’s better to watch first?

        It depends on your preference and mood. Undercover and Designated Survivors are quite different dramas. Undercover has more a romance vibe whereas objectively speaking, DS is a stronger drama with a superb ensemble cast (both have Heo Jun-ho) and its political intrigues. I watched DS twice already.

    I’m reading your post late. I’m one of the few who watched Undercover and I liked it. Also watched Designated Survivor and liked that too. They’re both good!

    I see you’ve decided to go with Designated Survivor. Enjoy!

      np, still haven’t started watching any of them. So, if you were here before, would you have advised me to go for Undercover?
