I liked that The Judge From Hell took itself as seriously as we did – that is not at all. 😂
The drama never pretended to be anything but light (as much as a serial killer FL can taken to be 😅), mindless fun. Don’t go looking for plot holes because you will fall down and be swallowed whole to Gehenna.
It worked in the most unexpected of ways. I actually liked the OTP. Perhaps it fizzled out a bit by the end but in a drama where I did not go looking for romance, I found it to be better than the romance in dramas billed as such.
There was character growth and it seemed like we left the characters become a better version of themselves. Which was the last drama we saw where we could say that.
I wish Bael had a longer and stronger character. Thanks to Shin Sung Rok (I’ve no idea why he accepted the role but I’m greatful to see him on my screen) the character (as written) got more presence and respect than it deserved.
I really like Kim Jae Young so I’m happy this drama has appealed to so many people. He’s an under-appreciated, under-cast actor imo. Hopefully TJFH will propel him to more main lead roles! 😍
They probably offered him a fancy spidery outfit with 90s boys’ band hair and he couldn’t resist.
I somehow still remember that episode of Master in the House where Shin Sung-rok plays sports with Kim Nam-gil (in the same team) and each time I think of Shin Sung-rok, I visualise his lengthy, gangly shape in a green pair off joggers falling over himself… and it makes me love him even more.

All is well that ends well.

I really loved this hanbok. So pretty. Park Shin-hye looks so good. 😍
Kang Bitna did have lots of fun teasing Daon.
Even a demon likes to be wooed with roses.
