oh! Those brooches! They are glorious! I hope someone does some costume-jewelry inspired-by knock offs. One of the good things about the current trend towards men wearing brooches is that they are showcasing larger brooches- not the tiny discreet things that are the traditional brooches for ladies.

Yess!!! And I also like how fashion now is being more conscious, in terms of practicality, and a single item/accessory can be multi-purpose. The waves 🌊 inspired one that Xiao Zhan is wearing here can also be used as a hair accessory. I’m trying to wrap my head around the mechanism that is light and inconspicuous enough to be clipped to a shirt/jacket/blazer for it to be a brooch, but also strong enough to clip hair that may be thicker 😅🤔

@bebeswtz shirt clips have a long history actually- I own a few brooches that have a clip back. It’s almost the same as a hair clip, so all you have to do to make it dual-purpose is just lengthen it a little. The ones I own are short, something you would clip onto a neckline or a coat lapel. (Not a pocket, women don’t have pockets of course)

@bebeswtz here is a random picture I pulled off the internet. As you can see, its an Art Deco style. From what I have seen, pairs of clips were common, though this one is fancy enough that its made to use as either a double or single brooch. Ah, now that I see it—especially with the video— I understand. Come to think of it, I used to have an accessory that had the same sort of backing and could be used for dual purpose, but I think I only ever used it as a hair accessory 🤣

Nessa thank you for sharing the clip from his interview. I loved how he even mentioned the music that they had organized which added to the charm.of the event. I thought that the sapphires looked different. This matte finish in gems is really interesting. I always thought gems are cut and polished to shine brightly!! 🌟😂 But these indeed look beautiful and are evocative of Iceland.

I could be wrong, but I doubt the necklace has a pair of matching earrings to go with it, else I think they would exhibit/showcase it as well and try to reap as much money as they can with it as a 2-piece (earrings and necklace) collection lol 😂
And no, alas, my boy’s ears are not pierced! Which I sort of appreciate lol It might just be me, but I’ve seen enough ( i.e. maybe too much, so I feel over saturated by it) of K-pop idols and C-celebs who are former K-pop idols who have their ears pierced—and even some C-celebs who just liked the trend for a time, so they got it done and kept their piercing(s)— so XZ as an entertainer not having his pierced is refreshing to me 🤭 You know how I appreciate so much that XZ isn’t a celeb/entertainer that finds it necessary to always follow trends of the majority

Actually I do appreciate earrings on some men but only in some cases also only certain styles. It is a tricky thing to style men’s earrings which only few can carry off.

My mistake— a MAJORITY of the outfits from the photo shoot is Gucci, but some pieces— like the white jacket with the open back is actually Jacquemus (an iteration of what the designer, himself, wore for his own wedding)

It was a really fun photo spread wherein he got quite dressed up for once haha Previously, his photo shoots—even ones done professionally for magazines— felt pretty easygoing and fun, but this one was definitely a little more glamours
