Great read! Of course it must have been hard to play such a complicated sociopathic character! I hope she can rest now and bask in all the glory she is so rightfully getting 🤩
The kind of mental and physical toll it took on her was tbh scary to read. Good on her to treat it as a job and challenge herself after so many years in the industry. Proud of her. Hope she enjoys the vacation and is pampered by the production. I’ve always liked her, now I’ll keep my eyes peeled for her future works. 😊
I still have a had time believing that she was the soft-hearted roommate and friend of the lead in Fight for My Way. It is amazing how actors can portray completely different characters, but I never really considered how exhausting it must be. Hope she enjoys her reward trip in VietNam.
Thanks for sharing! She absolutely should be proud of her performance; Soo Min easily could have been a one-note character in another actress’ hands, but SHY managed to make her feel like a real character who saw herself as a victim at every turn.
A complete change from when I last saw her in FIght My Way. In fact, it took me a while to actually figure out it was the same actress playing the part of Soo-min. She was just fantastic playing this character!
The only way I knew was I looked her up βbeforeβ the drama aired. Frankly I was little sceptical but then 💥 she really blew away everyone and everything in her way.

“Song Ha Yoon is also a victim of Soo Min. It feels like Soo Min used me.”
This is such a heartbreaking interview of Song Ha Yoon on how she lived as Soo Min for a year.

She was really good in the few episodes of Oh! Youngsim that I watched.
This was literally a 180 degree turn.

So true, the hard work of the PD and actor really made the character shine.

Seems she went the method acting route, it paid off but yeah it can take a toll mentally for the actor.

I’m glad she took up the challenge and it has paid off in spades.
