I want to write a post with all the lil details I noticed (so far, ep 6) but for now I’ll just say I freakin’ love those kids and their arcs

I love THE DEAL becuase it\’s about characters who kinda suck going through an arc to make them genuinely terrible.

THE DEAL is a blast (so far). I don’t know what possessed me to think it was a comedy, as it is definetally is NOT. Didn’t excpect to like the abductee the best but I think he is a unique character

    I can’t even imagine why so many Beanies expected it to be comedy. Its genre was obvious from the very first casting news.

    I’m glad that it is becoming more available and more people watching it. It was one of the best dark shows I have ever seen.

      Cannot speak for other Beanies, but for me it was the premise-“two friends have a plan with a third, rich friend to pretand kidnap him” which sounds all comedic and quuirky. This is not the case at all, it’s a dark dark ride and I enjoy it a ton.

    I’ve been wanting to check this one out. No idea if I’ll get to it though.

      It’s a “page turner” of a show- episodes are a bit shorter and there are 8 ep overall so watching is really easy. So far I reccomend it – if you are into dark drama where everything gets worse, thats a good one.

I love the tenderness and overall devotion shown by Do Guk in PMR but I wish to see this being repliclicated… I swoon but stillll

    yes, 100%. Yi-joo did not once deserve the full amount of His affection, care, and devotion. She took it for granted in her quest for revenge but, in that sense, her behaviour was no better than Yoo-ra’s self-entitlement.

      It’s so odd to see him fawning over her and getting only wide eyes and sheepish modesty in response.
      A. It’s kinda creepy, taken out of context
      B. Men deserve tenderness and devotion too

      I kind of hope her arc would be to open up and learn to trust and reciprocate his love – clearly she’s not ready nor feeling that way about him

Started “Perfect Marrige Revenge” and the pacing is so good… I gave up on the webtoon cause I didn’t like it that much but the drama takes a lot of liberties that make the story sooo much better.
