@babymarzy, about the folk tale. Sorry, I got my details mixed up (I fixed it up in the post ^). In Kongji & Patji, Kongji is the Cinderella figure who's worked hard by her stepmother and mean stepsister Patji. In the end, she marries the magistrate who falls for her kindness and beauty.

The reason I got mixed up initially is because of the 2002 kdrama "My Love Patzzi," which is based on the folktale but throws in a twist. In that series, the main girl is the Patji character -- she seems mean and rough-mannered on the outside, like in the fairy tale, but is deep down a good person. Meanwhile, the supposedly nice and pretty Kongji is a jealous person inside.

@ginnie, I'm not sure but I'll try to find out... it sounds like background score, though (rather than a previously released song), so it may be out on the OST, hopefully.

I was wondering if you knew the song / background music during the last few minutes of the show? When Tae Joo started teasing shy Eun Soo in the elevator, a music started playing. It has violin in it and it sounded so romantic when he kissed her for real. I am curious about the music....

thanks so much sarah!! ur summary was really amusing, such a cute episode this was. the characters are growing on me. ES is so much fun, its like she's like clueless but she doesnt know she is. Her honesty to everything she says is refreshing too. TJ's ex looks strangely familiar.. like she is on a daily drama. hahah I like how this drama is real, the situations are different from the typical. i dont see ES trying to win TJ yet or really outwardly showing interest but its there. HR is in a bad way too, i dont really get JH too sometimes acting like he likes her and just pushes her away. i have tiny question, what is the Korean Cinderella fairytale, is it the same with the english one? So Kongji would be the bad stepsister? or meaning the not pretty one and kind of not smart? lol im not familiar. i got curious.

Reading yr write up make mi feel like dashing home re-watching this ep again...
