Song Ji-woo made her acting debut in 2019 with minor appearances in several television series. She continued building her acting portfolio by playing supporting roles in Channel A’s Unique! Chef Moon in 2020 and Love Scene Number, which aired on MBC and Wavve in 2021. The following year, she gained more recognition with roles in the MBC romance sageuk The Forbidden Marriage and the hit Netflix revenge thriller The Glory.
In 2023, Song Ji-woo appeared in two more Netflix series namely Love to Hate You and A Time Called You. In 2024, she acted alongside Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-shik in the JTBC healing rom-com Doctor Slump and joined the main cast of the TVING romantic comedy Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale. That same year, she also starred in Lifetime’s debut drama Love, Andante, opposite Kwon Hyun-bin.
