Lee Chae-min made his acting debut in the 2021 tvN mystery-suspense series High Class. He then appeared in KBS2’s Love All Play and in the second season of tvN’s Alchemy of Souls in 2022. Later that year, he was introduced as a new host for the KBS2 music program Music Bank. He and his co-presenter Hong Eun-chae of the girl group Le Sserafim won the Best Couple trophy at the 2023 KBS Entertainment Awards for their work in the program.


In 2023, Lee Chae-min was also cast in two tvN dramas namely Crash Course in Romance and See You in My 19th Life. His performance in Crash Course in Romance earned him the title of Most Influential New Actor at the 2023 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards, proving his rising popularity. In 2024, he landed his first lead role in the Netflix original series Hierarchy.


Lee Chae-min attended Korea National University of Arts. He is currently in a relationship with his Crash Couse in Romance co-star Ryu Da-in.
