Kim Hieora debuted as a theater actress in the 2009 musical Jack the Ripper. Her work in the theater scene won her several awards including Best Supporting Actress for You&I at the 2013 Daegu International Musical Festival. She then expanded into screen acting in 2021, with appearances in JTBC’s Beyond Evil, and tvN’s Hospital Playlist 2 and Bad and Crazy. In 2022, she rose to fame when she played the role of Lee Sara, a drug-addicted painter, in Netflix’s The Glory. Her performance in the series gave her a Best New Actress nomination at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
