Kim Da-ye started out as a model before transitioning into acting in 2013 with roles in tvN’s Flower Boy Next Door and SBS’s The Women’s Room. In 2015, she became part of the period film Empire of Lust. In 2016, she was cast in the web series Nightmare Teacher. In 2017, she played a guest role in the SBS drama While You Were Sleeping. That same year, she joined Mysterious Il-seung, which also aired on SBS. In 2018, she starred in the web series It’s Okay to Be Sensitive. In 2019, she was tapped as the female lead in another web drama called Rumor. In 2020, she acted alongside Park Cho-rong, Park Won-sang, and Do Ji-han in the film Road Family. In 2021, she appeared in the Watcha omnibus drama Unframed.
