Joo Jong-hyuk began acting in indie films before switching to mainstream in 2018 with a small role in JTBC’s My ID Is Gangnam Beauty. The following year, he appeared in another JTBC series called Clean With Passion for Now. In 2021, he played supporting characters in the Netflix military drama D.P. and in the MBC action-thriller The Veil. In 2021, he joined tvN’s Yumi’s Cells and reprised his role in its second season. He also became part of the tvN thriller Happiness. In 2022, he took on the character of attorney Kwon Min-woo in the hit 2022 ENA legal series Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
Joo Jong-hyuk majored in marketing and hotel management at New Zealand’s Auckland University of Technology.
