Jin Kyung began her acting career on stage before expanding her expertise to television and film. In 2012, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the KBS Drama Awards for You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly and Nice Guy. In 2013, she starred in the action-thriller film Cold Eyes, which won her Best Supporting Actress at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards. That same year, she appeared in the hit KBS2 medical series Good Doctor, which gave her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2014, she joined the casts of the SBS dramas It’s Okay, It’s Love and Pinocchio, which earned her a Special Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2015, she bagged another Best Supporting Actress nomination, this time at the 36th Blue Dragon Film Awards for the blockbuster action-comedy movie Veteran. In 2016, she played a supporting character in the high-rating SBS series Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. In 2020, she reprised her role in Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 2, which scored her the Best Supporting Actress trophy at the SBS Drama Awards.
