Jin Hee-kyung debuted as an actress in 1994 with the films Coffee, Copy and a Bloody Nose and Deep Scratch. Her work in the latter won her Best New Actress at the 33rd Grand Bell Awards. In 1996, she became part of director Kang Jae-gyu’s fantasy film The Gingko Bed. In 1998, she landed her first television acting role in the SBS drama White Nights 3.98. That same year, she led the erotic drama film Girls’ Night Out. In 2002, she appeared in the hit film Marrying the Mafia. In 2006, she was cast in MBC’s blockbuster sageuk Jumong, which took home the Daesang at the 43rd Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2011, she starred as the present-day version of Kang So-ra’s character in the award-winning comedy-drama film Sunny. In 2018, she joined the main cast of KBS2’s Suits, which was based on the American TV series of the same name.
