Jeon So-ni debuted as an actress through the 2014 short film Photo. In 2018, she played Park Bo-gum’s friend in the tvN series Boyfriend. In 2019, she acted alongside Lee Seon-kyun in the action film Jo Pil-ho: The Dawning Rage. Her performance in the movie earned her a nomination for the New Actress of the Year Award at the 19th Director’s Cut Awards. That same year, she starred in the film Ghost Walk, in which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 7th Wildflower Film Awards. In 2020, she landed her first television leading role in the tvN drama When My Love Blooms.
Jeon So-ni is the daughter of Go Jae-suk, who was a member of the 1970s K-Pop duo Bunny Girls. She attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts’ Department of Broadcasting Entertainment.
