Jeon Mi-do began her acting career in 2006 with the musical Mr. Mouse. Since then, she has starred in numerous plays and musicals such as Once, Sweeney Todd, and Maybe Happy Ending, in which she won a Best Actress trophy each. In 2018, she made her TV debut with a cameo role in tvN’s Mother, which won Best Drama at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2020, she played her first leading role in television in the hit tvN medical drama Hospital Playlist. Her performance in the series earned her numerous acting citations as well as a nomination for Best New Actress at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. She also recorded songs for the drama’s official soundtrack, including a cover of Shin Hyo-beom’s I Knew I Love, which peaked at number 1 on the Gaon Digital Chart.
Jeon Mi-do graduated from Myongji Junior College’s theater and film department. She married her non-celebrity boyfriend in 2013.
