Ha Joon made his acting debut in 2013 with a minor role in the tvN ghost-cop-melodrama Who Are You. In 2018, he played a supporting role in the KBS2 series Radio Romance. That same year, he became part of the main cast of the MBC drama Bad Papa, in which he was nominated for Best New Actor as well as an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards. In 2019, he acted alongside Seo Hyun-jin and Ra Mi-ran in the tvN series Black Dog and then appeared in OCN’s Missing: The Other Side in 2020. Also in 2020, he led the family drama movie Festival, which won him Best New Actor at the 30th Buil Film Awards. In 2021, he was cast in the tvN mystery-suspense series High Class.
