Bae Yoon-kyung made her acting debut in 2017 with a supporting role in the MBC series You’re Too Much. That same year, she joined Channel A’s dating reality show Heart Signal. In 2018, she was cast as one of the leads in the two-part KBS1 musical drama Joseon Beauty Pageant. She then played Shin Ha-kyun’s sister in the 2019 MBC crime-thriller Bad Detective, which was adapted from the BBC series Luther. In 2019, she became part of the KBS2 medical drama Doctor Prisoner. In 2020, she appeared in Hi Bye, Mama! and My Unfamiliar Family, which both aired on tvN. In 2021, she joined the main cast of the KBS2 sageuk The King’s Affection.
