TO NETFLIX,
I thought you were a waste of money for my solo mobile viewing, but thanks to technology & tv & the fascination of exploring something new, my family 👪 watches stuff together now.
We’re overcoming years of distance & cold wars – feels like forever since TV 🖥️ has been a collective activity.
FIND YOURSELF for being relatable & interesting & funny. You’re addicting that we leave our dinners & rewind & watch your moments again. Not that useless after all.
From discussions on social etiquette, commonalities among Asian culture, weird clothing to relationships, perceptible women, insecurities to teenage hunger ; all things relatable….
I’m a little pensive about starting “Find Yourself” ….. Not only is it another noona romance, it also seems like the romance happens suuuuuuuper quick– I’ve seen previews here and there for really early episodes (3 thru 7 so far) and the OTP is ALREADY together??
That is true but it’s a surprisingly good show. More like a societal critique with the romance playing in the background. I remember how I was so pissed off at Pretty Noona making those two fall in love this quick, that wasn’t the case here.
Ooooh okay good to know ~!! Another concern I have, though, is how is Victoria Song’s acting in this?? I’ve seen quite a few of her dramas, and it seems to me that it’s not necessarily that all her characters have been the same, but her interpretation, presentation to the screen, and acting of her characters have always been the same for her dramas and, imo, and so her acting seems to be very flat as of late
To answer your questions – it starts with attraction, like normal dating period. Except they’re aware of social stigmas & have reserves because of them. They’re in each other’s presence a lot so going from attraction to dating to love doesn’t seem rushed. When you’ll start watching you’ll see why.
The word love comes after ep 10/12.
Victoria song has only improved with every project of hers, & her acting is effortless in 95% scenes so far (we’ve seen halfway till 20)
I’d say if you’re hesitant because of insta love or Song Qian’s/Song Wei Long’s acting skills – rest assured, even the extras in this act very well. The characters come across as lived in even if the turn of events/circumstances seem a tad bit dramatised.
I quite enjoy it. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll regret it.
Thank you for the feedback!!! I might check it out, then 😊😊
I’m blitzing thru “Rebirth Of A Shopping Addict” and will finish it soon (especially since the finale aired today and I don’t have to wait for new episodes to come out anymore) and so I’m already looking toward what I can watch next.
…. If you’re wondering— yes, I have considered time and time again that I could just simply watch “The Untamed” – Special Edition hahaha Because I STILL haven’t done so…. I feel like once I watch it and finish it, then my experience with “The Untamed” will have to come to an end and I DON’T WANT IT TO END 😔😔😔😔
