Dan, only love
I still think that the drama is moving a bit too fast for its own good, but it’s at least going to interesting places. LYS steals the show as usual, but I also like how they are constructing the parallel between KW’s and KD’s love: the selfish vs selfless, the love that makes you happy vs the happiness of another as a precondition of you own, the us2-4ever and to the hell with the rest vs accepting that pain is an unavoidable component of any human love even the happiest one. Dan already won the competition when he decided that what ultimately matter is LYS’s happiness. But the lesson from the old couple showed him that ever afters are not everything. I just want them to figure out a way to cherish whatever amount of time they have together.

Side note: It is both ironic and strangely satisfying to see auntie starting to fear the evilness of her own progeny.
