Radiant/Dazzling/The Light in Your Eyes/The Tears in My Eyes just totally destroyed me. In a good way though, y’know? It was almost too sad but there was plenty of warmth and love in the storytelling, and I really can’t put into words all my feelings about the drama. It was oftentimes heart-breaking, sometimes hilarious, totally gutsy with that twist near the end, and just dazzlingly beautiful.

      For sure 💕 Hye-ja’s monologue at the end was especially touching and drama as a whole was lovely.

        I want to write that out on a great big banner and hang it on my wall, or just put it on a flag that I carry on me everywhere. It’s just one of those things that I wish people could believe and know deep within their hearts.

          Exactly 💕 It was the perfect way to wrap up the drama and something I wish everyone could hear and remember when they most need it.

    I just finished this and the only drama that made me an equally blubbering mess was Dear My Friends (which Kim Hye Ja also starred in). Ugh I love this drama so much. Deffo needs a rewatch.

      It really was lovely, wasn’t it? I want to check out that one too but will need to watch something light and fluffy first 😅 Kim Hye-ja was amazing in this and I can imagine she’ll bring on the tears in Dear My Friends too!

        Light and fluffy is absolutely recommended. We need to get over our bittersweet heartbreak this drama caused.

          Definitely! Nothing really stands out in the current batch of dramas so I’m thinking maybe a rewatch of WFKBJ would be good 😊
