I love everything about Life’s premiere episodes. I really do. It’s shaping up to be a solid drama that will gain critical praise. If I may voice a minor complaint though, I just wish the background soundtrack wasn’t so loud and out of place. Especially every time Gu Seung-hyo showed up, the OST made him to be somewhat a major super villain (they just need to add a MWAHAHAHA for it to be complete).
It’s too early to call Seung-hyo a villain, and he’s had some cute moments as well. I love his eye-rolls after his assistant praised Jin-woo’s good looks (“Oh my, is he a doctor, not a sculpture?”), when he ate his sandwich in the car, and when he got startled by Kyung-moon and jumped in fear. I love how Jo Seung-woo left no trace of Hwang Shi-mok in his acting, and yet I’m immediately invested in his character. My ears are also blessed with his diction and line delivery. So, so good.
:'( Life was THE drama that I was waiting for and the waiting for subs is killing me! I need JSW in the life again stat!
Butttt hearing all the critical reviews is making me excited for when I do see it ahhhhhh
