It was funny because in that scene, if Mi-so was so allergic to them that just walking into a florist’s is enough to set her sneezing, how did she not react to the vase of flowers on their table until after they ordered and got their food??
YES. It’s a small inconsistency but it bothers me. Although tbh at the start, she was pretty bad at expressing things that she’s uncomfortable with, such as the bouquet in Ep1 and the roller coaster in Ep3.
But still, if you’re in this much discomfort, you don’t wait for an observant person nearby to Sherlock it and then ask for the allergen to be removed!
She could have seen flowers from outside too. Well, let’s get back to hugs and kisses and falling under the table when being called oppa. #staypositive
@allphryne Yes yes! For its flaws, Secretary Kim is a very refreshing take on typical rom-com tropes. I love that so much of the action is about Young-joon learning to fit himself to what makes Mi-so comfortable and happy.
The writing of this show is quite inconsistent! At first the showed YJ as someone who after working 9 yr working with MS had no idea about her allergic reaction to flower… but all of a sudden he changed to a very considerate boss who’s known everything about her from the very beginning…

The pollen allergy is probably never gonna be mentioned again, right? Then why did they use it at all?
Stupid, lazy, …

They did mention it in that one scene with the SungYeon when he noticed she was allergic to flowers…

And why on earth did she not ask for its removal herself.

As much as I love this show I found that bit a bit of lazy writing too!
