I kinda get and don’t get why people are complaining about the lack of episodes this past week. National elections, the Trump-Kim summit.. those are major issues.
If we’re not paying taxes or funding KBS, SBS, MBC in any way, I don’t think we have any right to complain. These are obviously issues that concern South Koreans. And also, what’s the big deal with waiting a week or two? You could always pick up a drama you’ve been wanting to binge-watch or rewatch an old drama or catch up on dramas you’ve put on hold. Try a Chinese/Japanese/Thai drama. Rewatch old eps of Supernatural or stg.
@kethysk Haha, I understand that too. The wait between episodes can feel like ages. It’s really tempting to give in and sulk like we’re 3.
Personally, I’m glad for the break.. I dunno if DB is using the break to catch up on recaps but if they are, I’m thankful for it. And also giving me time to catch up on so many dramas I’ve missed or put on hold due to work.
🙂
I’m currently catching up on Lawless Attorney and loving it.
Also, I’m trying to fend off my love for What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim until there are more episodes out.
I might give ep.2 of Miss Hammurabi a try (I wasn’t really sold on ep.1) and maybe also give in and start Life on Mars on the weekend.
Chinese dramas
Moonshine and Valentine
Addicted
To Love, To Heal
Korean dramas
Handsome Guy and Jung Eum
Wok of Love
Lawless Lawyer
Suits
Investigation Couple
Jewel in the Palace
What’s Up Fox
And I’m also really behind on Blindspot, Daredevil, Da Vinci’s Demons, Fresh Off the Boat, iZombie, Jessica Jones, Legends of Tomorrow, Lucifer, Supernatural, Supergirl, The Flash, The Magicians, The Originals, and Westworld… So many shows to watch!
wow! SOOOOO many shows!
Unfortunately for me, my night owl habits have been rather pitiful and staying up to catch up on KDramas after work + yoga has been really hard. my eyes just can’t seem to stay open past 11PM!!! SO SAD!!!
*missing my 20s and the easy-peasy sleepless nights*
@kethysk at least you’re way healthier than I am! My body seems to think it’s invincible… I’ll probably pay the price later on for watching dramas through the night.

a very mature response indeed.
I’m sure everyone knows that Real Life Over KDramas is a thing, and the latter can wait while very important things take place.
Maybe it’s just coz we want to be petty and complain and act like 3-yr-olds, in spite of knowing better?
