This scene was too good. I really care about Heo Im now. I have a reason to. That coupled with Kim Nam-gil being a dang good actor, daebak.
One thing though. Having Dr. Choi there made it feel a bit disjointed for me, especially with her reaction. I understand why she was there, but the way she was portrayed being there was kinda jarring.
I think that would be necessary for her to develop empathy towards Heo Im’s character, idk. I kinda hated it when he treated Heo Im like a heartless materialistic doctor of the rich and powerful without, like Dr. Heo said, knowing what he had gone through in the past. So this might lead to some kind of paradigm shift towards her understanding of him as a doctor and as a person.
