Lol im usually impatient but i stuck around because i wanted to know why would jung so min sign up for it. Turned out to be the most laugh out loud funny drama i watched. And it has so many cameos.
Ooh~ that’s reassuring! I love a good laugh-out-loud show. And it’s quite short, too, right? How many eps again? And how long is each? Haha, I think I literally only checked out the first ep… I watched the first ep of Father Is Strange and realized how charming Jung So-min is, that I’d like to see her here, too. Also, Kwang-soo’s always a hoot to watch. Oh yay for cameos!
When I first tried watching it I wasn’t hooked either. I think the new edit (on Netflix, at least) was muuuch better. It was so funny I was writhing from laughter lool. I never wanted it to end…so I didn’t watch the last few eps lol. Waiting for a gloomy day.
Lol I wish you never have a gloomy day, but the ending was so sweet! And i do regret finishing it. I wish they make a 50+ episode drama with the same cast
I finished it! I had a mild panic when I got to the next episode and realized it was the last, but there was no going back at that point lol. I laughed sooo hard I’m pretty sure I woke my neighbours lmao
Oh? What do you mean, “the new edit”? Like, an alternate version of the show/eps? All this talk about it being laugh-out-loud funny is really great! Omg, props to you for stopping a show when it’s actually good! Haha. You should finish it!
I think someone else mentioned it, when it was first released as a web series it was only 10 minutes/episode and not as cohesive, so it didn’t keep my interest even though it was funny. It popped up on Netflix with 30min episodes and a completely different cut, and was reams better. They put whole scenes in different spots and edited it so it was more focused on the whole family. I feel like somebody found the real show on the cutting roomfloor lol.
I actually do that pretty often. I still havent seen the last 2 or 3 episodes of Gaksital 😅
Ahh~ I see. Now that you mentioned it, I think I might’ve watched the 10 min p/ep ver, and that’s why I wasn’t pulled in right away. Will probably look for the 30 min ep ver when I decide to watch it. I’m glad it exists because it sounds a lot better than the 10 min ver one.
Wow. How? Why? I mean, I kinda get it, but… well, all the power to ya! Haha.
Because each 15 min was an episode of its own, each showing a day in their lives. The show was originally aired on naver and the sequence of the episodes was reformatted for the KBS airing.
It’s hilarious beyond words lol. I skipped the episode with the imaginary situations, but apart from that rest of the episodes were highly entertaining, I wish it was a regular size drama, so holding on the last 5 for now. it is nothing like the usual kdramas, plus throughout the episodes, there are literally laugh out loud moments. LKS is amazing here, plus his parents LOL. Almost died when he ran for his life just cause he didn’t have the bus fare with him? 😀
Hahahah that was so funny because you expect him to say the typical. This drama was soooo different from typical in every sense. I also loved the jail scene where the mom doesn’t wanna recognize them. The parents are hilarious, the way they pranked him about the milk lady being his mom 😂😂😂
Lol that mom scene, LKS’s tears deserves an Oscar. 😂😂 I loved how he stocked up foods inside mom’s cabinet and made it his home.😂 I think we could talk about the antics for days haha.

I’ll have to give it another try, then, because I like the cast, but wasn’t hooked right away. Ha, I’m so impatient.

10 episodes, 30 mins each. Originally it was 20 episodes, 15 mins each.
