Something I love whenever I rewatch Love is for Suckers (the good parts, that is, lol) is how, even before the two have a meaningful interaction, John is often a focal point in Ji-wan’s scenes. For instance, here is the moment right when Ji-wan has met the rest of the cast. It’s not really noticeable the first time around, or if it is the viewer probably would assume he’s thinking something along the lines of “they let someone like her on the show?” and just meant to make us more convinced, at this point, that he’s a jerk. But, rather, it’s the direction hinting at something that won’t be more obvious until later.
