For whatever reason and the RL controversies the drama never got much traction but the couple of people who did watch it were full of praises. Hope you are enjoying the drama. Please do share your views.
Thank you. Yeah, I imagine the real life issues didn’t help with viewership. I’m liking Seo Ye-ji’s performance as a vengeful, but deeply troubled young woman. She is such a good actress. The chaebol antics and brutality might seem over the top, but after listening to a bunch of true crime stories from South Korea and Japan, they might not be too far from the truth. I’ve mentioned before that I am not a fan of stories involving adultery, but for some reason, I decided to watch this show. If I have any other thoughts, I’ll share them here.
She is indeed a good actress. Agreed the Chaebol antics are always portrayed in what appears to be an over the top manner but the news stories do support this. Sadly. At times it all depends on the treatment. I’m not too fond of adultery stories either but sometimes it is used organically (rather than in a sleazy manner which is the norm) and feels essential to the story. Sure feel free to share any thoughts as and when. 😊

I started watching Eve, starring Seo Ye-ji, on Netflix. Was this show unpopular among Beanies?
