Inspired by the Queen Woo trailer and the Kimchi Treasure Hunt, I’ve been watching HEALER again over the last few days. This drama still has the same effect on me as it did almost three years ago. No matter how many times I watch it (and re-watch different scenes), I can’t really get away from it.

I’ve also dug through the recaps and the thousands of comments and even found one or two interpretations that I hadn’t thought of before.

Isn’t it a good sign that a drama can still inspire me years later as it did when I first watched it, even though my life circumstances have changed considerably in the meantime?

HEALER is such a fun drama! I call it a Masala KDrama / closest that kdrama comes to a Bollywood masala movie. 😀

The show that does to me what HEALER does to you is STRANGER – each time there’s something new that I find about that show – every scene is so tightly scripted and the storytelling is terrific!

Feeling this way is definitely the sign of a great drama!

“The sign of a great drama” yes absolutely!! I think that one of the marks of timeless fiction is that we can come back to it at different points in our life and find something new… the drama hasn’t changed, but we have, and so we see something new or different as it reflects back a different part of our experience. The very best fiction grows with us in this way 😊 Healer is on my list of dramas I want to rewatch sometime, too.

As much as I love Healer and as I am always ready for a rewatch, I’ve never been able to dig through the comments for the last ep, 11,000+ comments 🙈

“Sign of a great drama” — Couldn’t agree more!!

I’ve never been able to get that last recap to load! Healer really is a gem. One of my most enjoyable watching experiences ever.

Yes, it was hard work scrolling through all the comments. I regret a little that I wasn’t there at the time. It was probably a lot of fun hyping each other up.
