It’s 💯 me. I can’t watch until late tonight and I’m dying of curiosity, especially after the comments here.

me tooooo – I was even contemplating just playing it and listening to the audio while I work but that’s probably just going to make it worse because my limited knowledge of Korean will just fan my curiosity even more hahahahha

I did my book reading trick. I *knew* they were going to pull some shtick. So I saw the ending first. That was the only way I could “survive” watching the episode. 😅
But there are some really really good moment sprinkled in.

And thank the Goddess for those few really good moments otherwise iy would have been beyond redemption.

that’s smart!! honestly is it that much to ask of shows that are doing well for like almost 80% of the way to just not blow it up at the end 😆 😭

It is not what I usually do with dramas. It is a journey to get to the end after all. 😂 But I was so full of trepidation that I just couldn’t wait.

They just had to wrap up properly. We are already hooked. Why are they alienating us like this. Next for all you know we could have mermaids, aliens and zombies take over – à la Sol’s script.

I love your new display name. I think it suits you rather well. 😂 Also goes along with timeslipping.

I’ve been avoiding the fanwall in between episodes (heck, I’m even avoiding YouTube to skip accidental spoilers in video screencaps!), but after watching 13… I liked it! All was to be expected, honestly. We had to have an angst climax first – it is the penultimate week, after all – and I liked how the reveals and emotional beats were paced. Certainly there will be at least one more reset to go. Shades of Hong-jo certainly crossed my mind, too, but most of the main cast here are SO SMART compared to dramaland standards – look at them involving the police right away and keeping their phones charged! Also Tae-sung is my favorite SML of all time and his grownup version is 🔥🔥🔥

Yep. It suddenly felt like a gaggle of particularly dumb monkeys had written this ep.

Your comment is just too perfect. 🙈 I could hardly recognize uri beloved Sun Sol in this episode. Thank God for Tae Sung the savior.

I feel like all the comments have inoculated me and I can now resist the stupidity infection! 😆 I never expect a show to not have some breakdown near the end and making the FL act like an idiot is every writer’s favorite trick, alas.

‘things are going a little too well!! time to mess it up!’ – most kdrama writers probably (WAE?! 😭)

Huh. So after all the warnings and complaints (completely justified, I admit), I’m … kind of okay with this episode. Sure, I had to ignore the tired amusement park trope as well as Sol running alone through the woods in homage to her unnie Hong-jo, but I didn’t have any trouble following the time-travel throughline and I’m not upset about SJ’s watch popping up with another three chances to go back, because there were always two watches – or one watch existing in two timelines – and that had to come into play eventually. Truly I think the comments here lowered my expectations enough that I could just focus on the plot progression, sloppy as it was. Thanks! 😂

Also, 34-year-old Tae-sung is effin’ 🔥🔥🔥. When it started to snow while he was kneeling in front of Sol, I thought “girl, just grab onto what’s in front of you and don’t look back.”

@Elinor Good our collective moaning helped lower your expectations. 😁

Words to live by Elinor. Just like the first episodes over-exaggeration I learned from you.

In response to your comment further down: DB’s thug noonim, am glad for you. If only it had worked for me too.

I hate to say it but with the exception of a few scenes, you are better off not having watched it.

I so try not to get spoilers before I get to watch it at night! I still end up seeking spoilers throughout the day!
