Okay one of my concerns was the potential erasure of Sol’s disability. But then I got thinking, Sol playing with time effectively eradicates herself out of existence. After losing the ability to move her legs, and thus hearing those words of encouragement and comfort from Sun-jae, that phone call was a pivotal moment in Sol’s life, especially with regards to her ‘love’ / gratefulness for Sun-jae. So to erase that moment in time is to erase the Sol WE know. Previous to that point Sol never cared for Sun-jae and as we saw from those flashbacks, rejected him after he (and the police officer) helped her from the serial killer.
So the future Sol finds herself in, isn’t her future. Her memories about Sun-jae, her being thankful and being an obsessive fangirl has ceased to exist. Which would’ve been an interesting conundrum to explore actually, especially given that Tae-sung and this new version of Sol might’ve been in a relationship
Aagh! That’s like maths. (Not a maths person.) I cannot keep track of the back and forth of the time travel. Sol is all Sols at once? Time is a circle? It will be a rewatch for me once it’s over to make sense of it all. Unless it’s a sad ending in which case I will be processing my rage and feelings for months.
She remembers everything about the the first episode timeline, and all she experienced travelling to her teens, but it seems she didn’t know anything about her life in the new timeline (she didn’t know she had a car, a job or even a niece).
memory buffering.. 34 old Sol was time traveling when Sol was growing up normally.. hence the missing memories for both 19 yr old Sol growing up naturally and time hopping 34 yr old
The dramas name apparently is “walking on memories” or sthg.. not lovely runner
