oh my god……. QoT plot drive is just so….. dumb and incoherent like literally they wouldn’t survive without those actors… like even down to Kwak Dongyeon and Lee Joobin… effin mess……
like idk LISTEN to those dialogues and remove Kim Jiwon and Kim Soohyun from that…. it’s literally idk…. daily drama???????? like take a stepback and observe all the decision-driving narrative without the aesthetically pleasing cinematography………. it’s so stupid that i almost feel offended.
Like i need someone to analyze why makjang plot points does work in some drama and why does it feel like the dumbest thing for another???
tho i dipped my foot too deep now and i just can’t seem to stop watching both Kim Soohyun and Kim Jiwon crying
It was a makjang drama from the beginning and that’s how I’ve been watching it—really, the first episode is about a guy that wished to be divorced and was glad that his wife would be dead in 3 months so he’d be free. That’s when I knew the wrong was going to be cray. It’s a weekend drama in finer clothes is all.
I think we give weekend dramas a bad name. I onlt watched one weekender – What Happens to my family, and it’s such a beautiful piece of storytelling, even though I didn’t luck like a couple of the leads.
As @Oldawyer keeps reminding us weekenders are essentially a different typenof storytelling. Instead of just concentrating on an OTP we get to be involved with their world, friends, families and their relationships. My parents loved My Golden Life, especially Cheon Ho-Jin and were totally enthralled. 🤣
Also they like a drama that they can see over a week or so as most 12-16 episode dramas get over in 3-4 days. They only binge watch and only dramas with HEA.
