Question for @reply1988 or any beanie who know the answer.. when you get two notifications for the same comment (reply and commented on post) do both take you directly to the comment?

    In the last week or so I’ve noticed that the notification links frequently take me to the middle of the original post that we’re all commenting on. I figured it was a glitch.

      Right? But on a more usual basis they should both take you just to the one that you need to read, right? It won’t take you to a parent comment ever?

        Yes, up until about a week ago, the link would take me directly to the post that was liked or replied to, even if multiple people had liked/replied to it. But suddenly it’s not doing that. It’s not even taking me to the comment at all… just somewhere in the vicinity 😂 But not all the time. Sometimes it works! 🤷🏼‍♀️

        Ordinarily no … but I guess sometimes in a thread / post with a large no. of comments you get dropped off at the parent comment. If that happens, I try to search for latest comments by the date or by my display name.

    The links are the same. Whether or not they actually take you to the comment is a function of your operating system, web browser, and amount of patience you have.

    The most hilarious one is when someone replies to a comment you made on your own post, and mentions you in it! Then you get three! 😂 But yes, if they lead anywhere at all, they lead to the same place.

    I find I often get dropped off somewhere close by, but sometimes it works great and takes me straight there.

      All three are “supposed” to take you to the same place… usually it works sometimes you gotta figure it out. 🤷‍♀️
