Some of us have noticed the trend of cherry blossoms appearing in kdramas. Something about them speaks to our souls. I took this photo last March, when I saw them blooming in Washington D.C.
I was quite confused seeing recent comments about it being a ‘trend’. It’s been in every other drama since my first drama 10 years back! Cherry blossom and snow!

Trend? 🤔 Cherry blossoms have been a staple of kdramas for at least 20 years. 🤔

Correct, it was a mistake for me to use that word. But it seems every kdrama I’ve watched lately contains CB scenes.

Cherry blossoms and snow are always on trend in K-dramas … as staple a trope as eating rice.

Ah! Those DC streets and cherry blossoms!
I think Doctor Slump made the max use of it. The number of scenes with cherry blossoms in it were many and so beautiful.
