Singles Inferno 3 – What a mess! Where did they even find this guy Gwan Hee?! More importantly, why am I sitting and watching 10 hours of this narcissistic guy playing mind games with girls?

    I literally skip him and just watch the hosts’ comments. He always says the same two things anyway, it’s funnier to just watch the reactions.

      Whatever he said in the last 2 episodes went right above my head. It almost felt like he was a robot repeating the same thing over and over again just changing the sentence structure.

      I’m really enjoying the hosts comments this time – they’re far more real than usual, maybe it’s because Gwanhee is so bad even they can’t stop themselves

        The hosts at the beginning of every episode: today I’m gonna try to be kind to Gwan Hee. 😌

        Those same hosts everytime GH opens his mouth (aka. every two seconds): I’m so done. He’s exhausting. Why do this girls like him again???? I missed the memo. I’m not even surprised he said that. 😒

        When another participant does something they don’t like: Omo, that’s SO Gwan Hee. She’s female Gwan Hee. He’s acting like Gwan Hee now. 😬🙃

        Da Hee calling him a ‘manipulative coward’ was by far the best moment of this season for me. I can’t imagine how irritated she must have been to let that slip out, considering they are very polished in their comments always and want to avoid controversy.

          I still think the panel aren’t pushing it far enough. I mean, he’s pretty much a narcissist at this point. But then again, women’s issues / rights are a controversial topic in South Korea. So yeah, strongly agreed that “manipulative coward” was a surprisingly great thing to hear.

          I wonder if Gwanhee feels ashamed watching this played back.

            I agree too, but it’s scary to think of the repercussions. People can be brutal and no human deserves to be cancelled over a reality TV show which is heavily scripted.

            I am hearing that people are hounding Min Ji with hate comments on her IG, that she closed off the comments. It is sad that people take it out on the girls, because the girls on the show don’t see his behavior towards other girls. They’re watching these other interactions along with us and it must be a surprise for them too.

            If anything, I am blaming the producers and editors of the show. We really didn’t need to see so much of Gwan Hee. It is just not interesting. Just how wholesome was that interaction between Min Woo and Si Eun, would have loved more such interactions between different people.

            Also, I don’t think GH will be feeling anything but proud at this point. He must be thinking he stole the show like he predicted at the beginning of the show. If he had that much insight about himself, he wouldn’t be the Gwan Hee we see 😉

            Haha great point about Gwanhee feeling proud. Also ugh – really true that people are taking it out on the girls. He really did lead Minji on and gave her no hint whatsoever that he’s also interested in Hyeseon. How was she to know? I feel bad for her. She said she wants to be an anchor right? Hopefully this doesn’t derail her public image and anchor career prospects.

            I think I was watching ep7 or 8 when I decided to stop watching because they kept giving him airtime and all he could said were those repeating words and logic which didn’t sound logical at all. He is a narcissist and I wonder why interesting girl (to me like Hye-son) couldn’t see this trait in him. I was bored so I noped out.

            @mmmmm as drama fever said, the girls don’t know what he’s saying to the other girl. Also, I can see how he could be charming – he’s an athlete, he’s quite funny, and he’s tall. Haha. These are such superficial traits but combine them with his flirting and you can see why!
