Reading about Lee Sun-kyun suicide, & then watching the ML in Like Flowers in Sand be black out drunk in the 1st episode, and it being played for laughs; it just leaves a bad taste for me. This isn’t a knock against the show, I like it.

I don’t drink or smoke anymore, but I don’t judge people that do. It’s just the double standards of Korea that I’m just not rocking with. To have alcohol, an actual poison, be accepted so much by them is so wild to me.

I tried to watch this week episodes but, after a few minutes, I figured out the FL’s profession and why she came back and I felt uncomfortable.

Even if this is just fiction and everything that’s happening in the show is different, I still rolled my eyes. I’m thinking of watching the show later since I know it’s just me being me and not the show’s fault. I like it, and I like the FL.
