Daily dose of sunshine episode 4: is it just me or the way they dealt with the case was kinda absurd?! Patient with delusions thought the nurse stole her money and kept physically and verbally assaulting her any chance she had, while the staff did basically nothing?!
The patient is sick and has no choice, but that doesn’t mean that the nurse should just be expected to endure the harassment!! A pat on the back and everything’s fine..oh you can go hide in this tiny storage room for a bit.
And also one doctor joking about it, oh you’ll have to wait for the meds to work, about a month or so, or maybe you can pay her back so she stops pestering you..hehe..so funny (not)
It’s weird because it’s not as if they made it look like a fault in the system, a management problem or something like that.
I don’t wanna sound naive, I know real life can be even worse, and I am also not an expert; but for a drama that is trying to be realistic and grounded this episode kept making me roll my eyes lol!
