Apparently, there’s a leak on X, the title of Episode 12 ‘Castaway Diva’ is ‘우연 vs 필연’ the same as Episode 2. Netflix translated the title of Episode 2 as ‘Coincidence vs Fate’.
Which, in my opinion, doesn’t convey the full meaning. It’s more like ‘Coincidence vs Destiny’ or ‘Coincidence vs Necessity’. This is because ‘fate’ in Korean is ‘운명’ and not ‘필연’. It’s evident that when they were young Fate brought them together, but the Necessity stemming from Ki-ho’s actions allowed them to meet again.
Yes, I’m referring to the cool box. What if, by chance, the box that saved Mok-ha is one of the boxes that Ki-ho sent? If that’s not the case, then his actions over those 15 years were what ultimately determined their final Destiny. And in the current challenging phase of his life, Mok-ha’s actions (which I hope will be revealed in the final episodes) will also ensure that she becomes his ‘cooler box’.
