I should be watching the next instalments of Dr Cha, but somehow the charms of Jung Il Woo as Prince Yeoning in Haechi came calling. I do love a good sageuk – men look so fetching in dresses & swords!
Enjoy HAECHI! Jung Il-woo was terrific as was (showed in the first pic with JIL) Jung Moon-sung. JMS won an SBS award for his performance as the evil Prince Yi Tan.
I swear Kwon Yul was cast against type and he shocked me with his comedic acting chops! (Not really a sp0iler: There is a great tavern scene (I think early on) of Kwon Yul pawing all over JIW. I am laughing just thinking of it.)
A great deal of energy would have been required to portray Prince Yi Tan – what a thug! Graceful dancing though – excellent acting and the antics of Bak Man-su provided comic relief.

I remember that Haechi was fun!
I mean, I don’t remember the show (because my memory is shirt), but I remember enjoying it.

Funny thing memory, although I remember the storyline it’s still a new show when you’re watching it all over again with fresh eyes.
