#2023DramaSummary
Unlock My Boss: Fun until the last three episodes ruined it- unnecessary character death, shift in tone, too much chaebol intrigue & backstabbing made this a big disappointment.
When you watch after the drama is no longer on air do you read the weecaps and comments section? It can be a worthwhile experience, so you don’t feel like you missed out.
I do read the recaps while watching, and sometimes the comments section too, though not always. When a drama is older I feel a little silly commenting sometimes, but once in awhile I just can’t help myself.
Before I even start watching a show I’ll read the first and last recaps to get a sense for whether or not it’s worthwhile. I always read the recapper’s final thoughts and gauge their satisfaction level, along with various comments from around the web. Even so it’s hard to avoid the occasional disappointment. Yes, I clearly put a lot of effort into my drama watching 😄

I like your approach to watching, I become very frustrated with live watches because there is so little to go on so it’s hard to avoid some duds when making choices to avoid certain elements. I hated dropping dramas so would watch something to the bitter end even when it was annoying me but now I have given myself permission to walk away it’s made all the difference. Watching older dramas is definitely the better way but I love the banter in the comments.

We were all hoping it was a fake out when we were live watching, it was so unnecessary.

Argh, I can’t imagine how frustrating it would been to live watch this. Very, very unnecessary. Glad I’m not the only one who was disappointed. 😣
