Whenever I see any in the drama I am watching, I always take a couple of screenshots. So I have many screenshots of wise words from Kdrama characters. You can see some on my fan wall. 🙂

It was in That Winter the wind blows- Zo In Sung plays the main character who is basically a shitty person, has no one who depends on him, no goal and no reason to live. He doesn’t even experience much joy and is crippled by guilt. The antagonist tells him to kill himself as he has no reason to live. The main lead replays that he will not and that to live one doesn’t need a reason.
That conversation has always been at the back of my mind. I found the idea that you should live just because simplistic but very freeing.

Yep. I have some of them in my notebook others in tumblr. I even have some in my wall (I like to have quotes/drawings and stuff like that in my wall).

I love this one from Fight For My Way: “must everyone have a dream? Even tho I don’t have a dream the world turns very well”.

Our Beloved Summer: “you don’t need their understanding, who cares? It’s fine as long you understand yourself. That’s already hard enough”.

I have like a million quotes from My Liberation Notes, When My Love Blooms, Run On, etc.

I don’t say it out aloud 🙃 But often in my head I go ‘Disgusting shaaaat’ (in LMH fake accent voice).

I wish I had noted down more of the words that have touched, comforted and/or inspired me. Sadly, I’ve been lax about it since life has been more busy, but one of quotations I always return to is “Fortune and misfortune are like twisted rope, so they come by turns. Everything will be fine soon.” (Captain Ri says this to Se Ri, and I find it so comforting.)

After 50 dramas watched I have found many memorable quotes in almost all of them, but I hadn’t taken notes (apart from saving some pics in Pinterest) until now while I’m seeing “Great Queen Seon Deok”. The writing is so good that I have copied even complete dialogues in my cellphone.
