So one thing I noticed (and went through all the present scenes in past episodes to make sure), is that Heedo isn’t wearing a wedding ring. I’ve been racking my brain as to why the plot is Minchae reading everything about her mom. At first I thought it was simply to understand her better as an athlete who had to struggle and work hard to be a star. But she realizes this early on. Isn’t it weird if your daughter is obsessing over a past romance with someone who isn’t your dad? Unless they are divorced. And maybe even very early on; I went back to the episode when Minchae is little and trying to draw her mom’s attention from all the people surrounding her. Heedo isn’t wearing a wedding ring! So maybe it’s Minchae who will be the bridge for a Heedo Yijin reunion. If he is alive in the present timeline, then that face Heedo made when her mother mentioned him is telling.
