Purple Drabble

August of last year,
I lived independently.
Full of excitement and fears,
Without my friends or family.
But you see, I love the crowd.
Being with people gives me energy.
I enjoy talking out loud,
Yes, this pandemic has tortured me.
My phone became a friend,
I just couldn’t live without it.
For every message I send,
I talked with people I have yet to meet.
I went on Discord and had fun,
We, beanies, bonded over everything.
Talked about stuff under the sun.
I enjoyed hosting trivia more than anything.
Alas, by then I’m still not over Law School,
The drama mind you, not the real one.
So I spent time on Twitter like a fool,
And poof! All my free time was gone.
I also logged in less on DB (I’m sorry),
Not having enough time to sleep.
As my online life got very busy,
It was my health I failed to keep.
Now, I know better,
Than to sacrifice sleep for our Oppas.
But please, let’s still fangirl together,
And share our love for TV dramas.
By the end of this poem, I only wanted to say.
Always prioritize ‘YOU’.
Sleep, eat, and drink water every day,
Love yourself, please do.
