I was inspired by other Beanies to share my favourite kpop songs of 2021. It was really difficult to rank them (and to shorten the list down to 25 entries – as you can see I cheated a bit by including whole albums too) but here is the result:

This list was extremely difficult to make. There are a few songs I wish I could have included but I had to make some cuts. For instance, I really wanted to include WOODZ’ album Only Lovers Left and VICTON’s Voice: The Future is Now but alas… It also pains me that some of my favs, DAY6, Pentagon, Mamamoo, and Taemin, did not make the cut this year.
There were just too many songs I absolutely loved in 2021. I’m looking forward to what 2022 has in store for us music-wise.
If Taemin has a release he will probably be to as Advice was for me this year. That Woodz album is so fun.
Love to see AKMU on here. Everest and Nakka have been favorites, such a great album.

Butter, Illa Illa, Celebrity, Fever, You can’t sit with us, Cinema were some of my favourites too 💚
I also love Gaho, but listened more to Rush Hour

It really is! I wish Twice had promoted as a title track or special single for the album just so I could learn its choreography.
Gaho is also one of my favourite vocalist. It’s crazy what he can do with his voice. I also really liked Rush Hour!
