For the second time this year, I can beat my chest proudly and say:
I love you On the Verge of Insanity 🥰🥰. Shin Han Soo’s 🤩 eyes at Choi Ban Seok was the perfect ending.
Truly a story of the everyday office worker. Definitely storing it in my favorite file.

This started out as an office drama and ended as a story about Shin Han Soo’s crush on Choi Ban Seok. No one can convince me otherwise. This was THE MOST SATISFYING WATCH of 2021. I dare 2021 to give me a better show. (I’ll be terribly happy if it does, but Insanity has set a very high bar!)

Thought I was fantasising about Han Soo’s crush on Ban Seok. Guess I was not alone.
It really was a satisfying watch.

In terms of K-drama tropes there is solid evidence for a crush, haha: (1) Han-soo gives up a 6-figure salary for Ban-seok. (2) Han-soo throws a tantrum when Ban-seok leaves. (3) Han-soo thinks longingly of their first meal together. (4) Han-soo sees Ban-seok in other people wearing checked shirts. (5) Han-soo stares at Ban-seok’s face so much that Ban-seok thinks it’s dirty. (This one really clinches it for me.) (6) It’s Han-soo and Ban-seok who share the final scene (not Ja-young and Ban-seok).

Come on, it’s staring us in the face!

          😂😂😂
Totally make sense. In a rom-com, these would have been canon moments of the relationship.

Fabulous list. Yes exactly. I suspected it from the first meet-cute. But those googly eyes in the last couple of eps confirmed all my suspicions once and for all.

I might also add that I was rooting for this OTP all the way through, more than Ja-young and Ban-seok -for which they unnecessarily trolled so much right till the end!

Also, my other fav pairing was the Shin siblings – I’d watch a spinoff of just them bickering.
