Ep 7 and I’m only still watching because of my love for the lead actor/actress, and nothing else.
The Writers of Doom At Your Service are trying soooo hard but failing miserably at making this Show a compelling ” complicated mystery-drama about an unlucky love between a dying human and a supernatural being.”
The “love me, love me not” plot has so many holes in it, our poor Park Bo-Young and Seo In-Guk are drowning, just trying to keep their characters as believable as possible. Great actors/actresses are given a very flimsy plot to make miracles with. It’s sad. Also, I find the deity very very annoying and unconvincing in her supernatural existence. Her aura is more that of a petulant pretentious teenager. The Writers try to make her sound wise beyond her looks, but it falls flat because what she says isn’t particularly philosophically inspiring or challenging, and aside from making viewers like me wonder why in the hell she’s at the hospital, she is a rather boring character.
As for the secondary characters!!!!! Lawd, what a waste of these 2 talented men! Urgh! This has got to be THE MOST MEANINGLESS CONFLICT I have witnessed in my over 15 years of watching Kdramas. Like, this is 2021. That is the BEST you could come up with???!? Shame on you, Writers.
*sigh*
At this point, I finally understand what it means to hate-watch a show. I look forward to giving up soon.

I think we’ll finally breath a sigh of relief when we’re free but for now I keep pressing play for some reason.

Same. It was like my brain said ‘click on it and then dont watch’. I clicked. It played on the background while I folded laundry

Also same. And, barring any Oh! Master-esque crash-and-burn, I know I’ll do it 16 times, too. What is wrong with me.
