There goes my first effort in months to watch k-drama again. Bye, River… Bye, Times… It was fun while it lasted.
Maybe I should pick one of those recommended completed dramas instead. *side-eyeing My Unfamiliar Family and Run-On* Or just wait for one of my favorite writers to come back with a new project.
I didn’t realize when I started it that it was very heavy on politics. I like the dynamic between the leads, but the crime-solving part of the drama is very dry. It’s hard to get emotionally engaged in their struggle. If I didn’t find anything else to watch, I’ll probably still check the progress for Lee Seo-jin, but I can’t see myself getting invested in the plot.

You might like Run On. The characters aren’t the typical K-drama characters even if they are a candy and a chaebol.

I’m trying to decide whether to continue River and wondering what steps the production will take.

I’m sure she’ll understand. I don’t even think she’d want to watch it now.

Will definitely recommend both Run On and My Unfamiliar Family.
