Yesterday I decided that I have Sunbae 2 Overload – we worked together a lot last week and since he handles major issues, it was exhausting. I’d rather take a break this week, thankyouverymuch.

I just had our chat open, smiling when he went online, finding comfort in the knowledge that there’s someone I can reach out to in case of emergencies, but not attempting to strike a conversation (because finding an excuse is hard enough).

And so I let him be and went about my day, but just as I was about to call it a day, the Universe (aka my boss) told me to raise a concern to his team. I thought about reaching out to someone else, but since that person is offline, I had to default to him.

And that, Beanies, is how Sunbae 2 had me laughing at the end of an exhausting day by pouting that I gave him more work.
