Sorry I just need a little rant about HOB/TGCF donghua (animation).

Tell me we will get to see HC’s real appearance before this season ends. (actually I know we most probably will)

Give me a good reason why they are slowing down the pace. (for plot explanation I know)

Tell me if I will ever live to see the Mount Tonglu arc. (maybe 10 years later?)

I will never be satisfied. A reread is the best option but I’m too lazy. *bangs wall*

*throws in a cutesy HC to make myself feel better*

    I’ve resigned myself for an endless long 10+ seasons before the donghua reached its completion. Anything for this story, really. (I also want to watch the mount tonglu scene badly. *bangs wall together with you*)

      we still have the manhua but it’s equally or even slower… we really gonna age together with this story, but yes, really. ANYTHING FOR THIS STORY. <3

      anyway, have u read any other BL novels recently? any good recommendations? 😁

        I’m currently on a break from Chinese BL novels. Though the long list of recommendation of Priest’s novels keeps tempting me. I stumbled onto fan fiction instead (which never enticed me before) and now I’m neck deep in Harry Potter fandom. Haha…

    I thought we would be in the middle of the second case in ghost city by the end of the season 1. But I think it is going to end with HC revealing his true form in the Sinners Pit.
    I’m looking forward to the special though in february.

      I suspect we might end the story where Xie Lian and Hua Cheng came back to the temple and acknowledged their real identity to each other. Which means we won’t see Hua Cheng’s real appearance (harrumph!), but at least we’ll have Xie Lian safe-keeping Hua Cheng’s ashes ring. I want more already. 😢

          the manhua gets such long breaks between seasons too. i can’t imagine how long will the donghua season 2 take… T.T
