Because face blindness popped up in a lot of kdramas recently, I found this account of what it’s really like absolutely fascinating (and devastatingly sad) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/stories-53192821
Because of kdramas I discovered that I have a mild type of face blindness. Until before Girl Who Sees Smells I only thought I’m just forgetful, and had known for a few years that if I want to remember someone I have to stare at their face for several minutes and find key points about it to keep in my memory. I never even dreamed such a condition actually exists. GWSS was a revelation.
