could anyone offer me some advice on the general type of content in it’s okay not to be okay? I have a pretty bad phobia of gore/blood/violence/self-harm so watching episode 1 was difficult for me and kind of put me off continuing. do similar incidences pop up in the later episodes? kind of bummed because I love KSH and really wanted to watch it but I’m not sure if I can manage it😅
I also dislike the same so I steer clear of serial killer and procedural police dramas most of the time. This drama is more like an underlying dark fairytale with romance, humor and healing (at least I’m hoping for the healing part to continue on from where I am in the drama). I’m barely half way.
There is some violence and at least one instance of the near death of a child. It repeatedly uses one sequences with blood in several episodes (not the one with the knife). Given the dark fairly tale vibe mixed with the setting in a mental health facility, it’s hard to say how much of the violence is imagined vs. real (with my acknowledgment that imagined violence is real to the person experiencing it) .

I really like it so far. It’s been pretty easy to avoid the repeated imagery so it hasn’t bothered me much.
